Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium Expansion

As a result of a Master Plan for Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium developed by Corley Redfoot Architects in 2006, the East End Zone Addition was designed to provide an additional 5,000 seats for spectators, including handicapped-accessible seating for 100 fans. On a tight schedule, the project was constructed in eight months and opened by the start of the 2010 season. The brick and block pattern of the exterior matches the adjacent structure.
